Self-released in 1975, Selångers döttrar´s only record is a real Swedish christian pop gem. From the late 60's and during the 70's a lot of great christian pop/rock was released in Sweden. This is not rock-inspired, but rather a wild and wonderous mostly acoustic celebration of life and Jesus. The A-side is full of short happy and joyous pop songs while the B-side is a bit more reflective and solemn. Recorded in Selånger church with a choir and a band, the natural echo does a lot to create an instant and raw live-esq feeling.
